Product Description

The DJGI-CS1/E short circuit and earth fault indicator is a deeply customized product developed based on our existing fault indicator platform. It is primarily used in conjunction with ring main units in power grid systems, enabling rapid detection, localization, and remote control of power line faults.

Key indicators of this product, including fault detection response speed, communication reliability, remote control capability and environmental adaptability, have been significantly optimized. The above optimizations are implemented through proprietary technologies including host-side fault current adjustment, 40 ms fast response, cable transmission scheme and SCADA remote control.

This product features an LCD display for load current. It is equipped with functions such as short-circuit and earth fault alarm, fault information recording for easy fault location, adjustable alarm current threshold, and adjustable fault judgment time. It is equipped with a standard communication interface and adopts the Modbus communication protocol for seamless automation integration.

l  It supports displaying load current.

l  It supports short-circuit fault alarm, earth fault alarm, and low battery alarm.

l  It supports RS485 communication, enabling remote adjustment of alarm thresholds and alarm time through SCADA.

l  It supports manual reset, remote reset, automatic timed reset and power-on reset.

l  It supports SOE functionality, capable of recording fault information.

l  It supports on-site adjustment of short-circuit fault current threshold.

l  It supports on-site adjustment of earth fault current threshold.

l  It supports on-site adjustment for short-circuit fault judgment time.

l  It supports on-site adjustment for earth fault judgment time.

l  It supports on-site adjustment of short-circuit and earth fault alarm delay time.

l  It supports alarm dry contact output.

l  It supports switching between two zero-sequence current detection modes: three-phase synthesis and direct acquisition.

 

Connection Terminal Configuration

Terminal Definitions

 

The fault indicator backplane is equipped with 14 port wiring terminals, which can be connected to the terminal strip of the ring main unit for centralized wiring.

A) Communication port: Connect one end of the 2-core shielded cable to the RS485 terminal block on the fault indicator backplane, and connect the other end to the ring main unit terminal strip for centralized wiring to the RTU.

B) Current transformer wiring terminals: L1 - Phase A, L2 - Phase B, L3 - Phase C, L0 - Zero Sequence.

C) Remote reset port (dry contact): Connect one end of a 2-core shielded cable to the RESET terminal block on the fault indicator backplane, and the other end can be connected to the terminal strip for centralized wiring in the ring main unit.

D) Alarm output port (normally open): Connect one end of a 2-core shielded cable to the RELAY terminal block on the fault indicator backplane, and the other end can be connected to the terminal strip for centralized wiring in the ring main unit.
